Bethany is married and has one son. Bethany was elected to the Delaware House of Representatives from the 8th District on November 5, 2002 and was sworn into office on January 14, 2003. Bethany became very active in grassroots politics and community activism during her husbands last tour at the Pentagon. Bethany's research and community service record with at risk groups such as pregnant teens, diabetics, homeless and the mentally ill, makes her a nationally recognized health scientist.
Bethany's record of community volunteerism is extensive and her work in public policy is superior.
